Kim Herbst was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1984. She lived in two different locations in Tokyo, Japan until her parents returned to the US by moving to NJ when she was a young child. She found her way to the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and graduated with a BFA in Illustration. Her work has been featured in books such as "To New Orleans, With Love," and 803 Studios's "Sequential Suicide." She enjoys creating private commissions as well as collecting postcards she receives.
